scenes from newport

we went to newport on saturday and it was splendid. we arrived with little idea of what we should do or where to go, and it took us a while to get around, but we had a good time.

turns out we had so much fun exploring the shops (i.e. we had know idea where we were going and the traffic was awful) that we didn't make it to the beach until the evening. oh well, at least we know where to go next time!
