from Saturday
Saturday was a good day. We started out going to get Ryan's bike fixed at a shop we had heard about in Rhode Island, and from there we found ourselves at a dairy farm. Next we happened upon the most adorable town called Little Compton ( which was clearly nothing like its namesake city in California) where we found caramels made of goat's milk, lavender honey, a pint of orange tomatoes, and a delicious sandwich named the "Frida Kahlo." We finally landed in Newport on a grassy park near the water. While there, we called family, spotted 3 enormous sailboats passing by, ate a cookie, and watched an old man in a muscle tee walking his pet ferret. And when the sun was way too much to handle, we folded up the blanket, and drove away.
