AHA!

Last night we went to AHA (Art-History-Architecture) night in New Bedford. Now we used to think downtown New Bedford was kinda ghet...but  actually last night it was surprisingly nice. AHA is a monthly free "celebration" of art and culture in the area and last night was our first time. All of the art galleries were open until 9 and the artists were there. We had fun walking up and down the streets and seeing parts of New Bedford that we didn't know existed...art galleries, boutiques, consignment... and there were plenty of cheeses and strawberries for me to munch on. it was great.

We had the most fun at the Artist Couples exhibit where we saw art contributed by both husband and wife. I was surprised how different their styles were.

Kinda neat. Last weekend my brother mentioned he might start painting and his wife was excited to see his aesthetic. It made me wonder. What if Ryan and I started painting? What would our styles be? Knowing us, they probably wouldn't be similar at all, but it'd be cool to see.

Anyway, tonight we're going to Belmont to visit the temple. Our very first time there and I'm excited.  Saturday we have a youth stake dance on Cape Cod. The first time Ryan and I ever danced I'm pretty sure was at our wedding. The second time will be on Saturday. Even if he's not excited, I am.

Have a good weekend!
