It's been awhile.

I told myself that I wouldn't blog until I got my big project done. Well it's done - my part at least - and I'm excited to be back. We've had an eventful couple of weeks though, mainly due to the new addition to our home...

A dishwasher! 13 years old, slow, and very noisy, but oh boy I couldn't be happier.
It is so magical to put all of my dirty dishes in a this little box and take them out all shiny and clean. We love it.

We went to two festivals last Saturday. (Have I told you how much I love festivals? And New England has so many!) In the morning we headed to the Dartmouth YMCA Fall Festival. We went on hay rides, looked at the sheep, played darts, and we shot arrows. Ryan shot 100% of his arrows into the bull's eye and I didn't ever make it on the board. I had no idea I married a robin hood.

the next festival was the working waterfront festival in new bedford. there was a lot of cheesy music and it was really humid, but we got to tour the tugboats and our chilled apple cider was absolutely delicious.

I looked online for a list of fall festivals in the area and I wish we could have been able to go to "What The Fluff 2011"... (please watch at least some of this highlight video from last year's fest) It had my name written all over it.

...and I'm so excited for this Cranberry Harvest festival coming up in two weeks...

anyway, more updates to come...we have family coming in town all month and work for me starts again tomorrow. I'll keep you posted:)
