Ryan's birthday was yesterday but we've been celebrating all week. I tried to think of fun surprises for him each day like a sports magazine one day, chocolate chip cookies the next. Over the course of the week I realized how little we do because he likes to do it. For example, when is the last time we ever ate buffalo wings??? And he was so excited on Thursday when I pulled them out of the oven! Anyway, I appreciate all he does to make me happy, so I in turn loved focusing on him this week.
On Monday we ate this cake and ice cream. I got emotional as we toasted to 25 yrs and we both laughed because my dad would have done the exact same thing. Our celebration culminated last night in Boston. Ryan took a half day at work, and we drove up to meet Kate and Eric. They took us to a fun Italian restaurant with only one, very Italian, employee. And it was delicious! After, we took the subway to TD garden to watch the Bruins play. Boston won in a close game and I was thoroughly entertained...maybe I'll become a hockey fan??? Anyway, it was a long drive home before we fell into bed - we were soo tired. But oh it was a great day.
I'm so thankful to have Ryan in my life. My world has been brighter ever since we met.
Happy Birthday!
